Wax Clinc - Wed. Feb.17 at 6.30pm

We will be putting on another wax clinic on Wednesday Feb.17th at 6:30pm specifically aimed at the Gatineau loppet. Come learn the wax recipe for the race and how to apply them. From basic to advanced, check it out to get the most out of your Gatineau Loppet.

We will also be offering our "Keski" ( Gatineau Loppet) race wax service using the best Fluoro waxes for those who prefer to worry about things other than the best wax and snow conditions.

Some of the new Cervelos are starting to come in. Come check out the R3SL Team bike. It is the same bike some of the Cervelo Test team riders will be using this year. Sram Red, Zipp 303s and Rotor Cranks make it unique

SWIX Wax Clinic- Jan.6th at 6:30

The first wax clinic of the new year has been scheduled for Jan. 6th starting at 6:30pm. The clinic will feature Swix products. There will be special pricing on all wax products and waxing accessories at the clinic. There is no charge for the clinic.

Madshus Skis are in!!

The 2010 Madshus skis have arrived. We also have brought out a decent selection of previous models. In some cases the only difference is the colour so it could be a good opportunity to get a deal if the camber is right. Give us a call or drop by. We will need your height and weight in order to select skis.

The shop is now taking in skis to get waxed. Bring them in early so you can be first out on the trails.

Ride with Rendall Anvil Cross Race

The 1st annual ANVIL Cyclo-cross race in Ottawa Nov 14th 2009 (the day before Provincial Champs which are also in Ottawa info www.cyclocross.org ), and should provide you with an excellent tune-up the races on Sunday.

Greg Reain and Glen Rendall have designed a course that is fun, fast and somewhat technical It is predominantly a course made up of firm grass that is smooth and rolls quite well, with a couple of fast gravel sections and not a ton of elevation gain. The race venue situated about a ten minute drive from downtown Ottawa and right beside the 417, see map below.

Onsite Catering will be provided by thefoodery.com including hot and cold drinks, homemade baked goods and chili

11:59am Pre Registration Closes at www.ontariocycling.org Saturday November 14th
10:00am Registration office open, Day of registration available until 45 min before each race starts
12:00-12:15 Minime, Pee-wee $10

The store is now in full switch over mode so we will be closed Thursday November 5th. The store will have a new look when we come out of it. New layout and new product just in time for the forecast of snow.

Check back to see if we need Friday as well but we are crossing our fingers we won't.

The new Salomon boots have arrived. The new S-Lab Skate Pro is a totally new boot this year that has a micro-adjustable fit and a carbon cuff. The S-Lab Skate, Salomon`s lightest boot, has also received updates along with the RS Carbon.

We also have a good selection of sizing on last years boots, all with great pricing so drop buy or give us a call if you ski Salomon.

...oh, and the parkway has now been closed so ski season is close.

The time has come. The skis are starting to coming out and the clothing is arriving daily. The new Craft clothing is all up and looks great.The store is in transition so if you don't mind a few boxes on the floor, it will be worth you while.
